Programs in Hospitality

The hospitality industry in the Netherlands is alive and crucial within the country. It includes hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars, and others. The business services sector is a hotbed of innovation and service, reflecting the Netherlands’ open, creative, and dynamic culture. In economic terms, it contributes significantly to employment and GDP, while in tourism terms it massively enhances the country’s international reputation as a great place to visit. The industry is growing and bringing opportunities with it. The demand is there – for everyone from cooks to hotel operations.

The industry’s wide variety of jobs, levels, and work activities means it can absorb workers with an enormous mix of skills and qualifications, contributing to its diversity and dynamism. In the Netherlands, people are hardworking, and the labor laws are strong, guaranteeing fair working hours, rest periods, and a safe working environment – and non-EU workers carry the same rights with them wherever they go, cultivating a positive, diverse, and friendly work culture.

There is plenty of room for training and continuous professional development for trainees who want to advance within the industry, as well.
